CITEM SKILLS DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY CSDA

Introduction: The COVID 19 Pandemic has caused a great disruption in the educational system across the globe. This disruption cuts across all facets of education from primary to university. The pandemic has also provided opportunities for colleges / universities to innovate and use technology to enhance their course offering and provide the required necessary skills that employers are looking for . This is the premise upon which Canadian Institute of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management CITEM has developed the Skills Development Academy to train youths in 21^st century skills that would make them employable and prepare them for the future.

Objective: The Objective of the CITEM Skills Development Academy is to provide opportunities for youths to acquire and be trained in skills that are needed to gain meaningful employment and contribute positively towards Nation Building.

Program Framework

Structure:

The CSDA Program is an Alternative School or Grade 13 Level School which prepares secondary school graduates for the Real World. It will also provide opportunity to serve as a Remedial Program for local and International students who could not gain admission into the University to boost up their grades in preparation for admission.
