Introduction: The COVID 19 Pandemic has caused a great disruption in the educational system across the globe. This disruption cuts across all facets of education from primary to university. The pandemic has also provided opportunities for colleges / universities to innovate and use technology to enhance their course offering and provide the required necessary skills that employers are looking for . This is the premise upon which Canadian Institute of Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management CITEM has developed the Digital Technology and Innovation Program to empower and train graduates in 21^st century skills that would make them employable and prepare them for the future. Digital Technologies such as Internet of Things ( IOT ), Mobile Technologies and devices, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Digitally-delivered services and Apps are changing the production of goods and services.

Objective: The Objective of the CITEM Digital Technology and Innovation Program is to provide opportunities for graduates to acquire and be trained in skills that are needed to gain meaningful employment and contribute positively towards Nation Building.

Program Framework

Structure:

The CITEM Digitization of Technology and Innovation Program is designed to empower and train graduates of Colleges and Universities for the Job market. The course is also designed to bridge the gap between the Industry and the schools which has been diagnosed as preventing graduates from getting good jobs in the Industry.
